The tail end of 2018 saw us tackle some new and challenging shoots and meet and help some great customers. We've been involved in more corporate work covering small workshops through to events. We've shot for the National British Tae Kwon Do Championships as a last minute stand in. Though we didn't quite save the day, we manager to rustle up 3 photographers to cover the all day event and capture some of the key moments. Leonardo's has been in Edinburgh for 75 years under various guises. So the events team at the Botanic Gardens had rigged a truly massive marquee at the back of Inverleith House and had a bit of a party. As well as the classic crooner, the Secret Opera Singers were on site and DJ Boogie from Forth Radio acted as compere and DJ.  As it was a gala style event, there were lots of couples as well as groups of friends, which I think added to the general bonhomie. This was my second year shooting the BiP Solutions annual awards at The Village Hotel. The company had set up a backdrop in the bar area and I rigged a couple of lights to show the award winners at their best as well as grab photos of the people attending the event. As the evening progressed I also managed to sneak in some fun party shots as the band, Nae Danger played out the night.
